Kenya Muslims Chartable Society (KMCS) was founded in 1987 by young professionals from Northern Kenya, previously registered in 1992 as a Society but currently registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) since 1994 to provide development in social-cultural sectors. Our principal offices are located at Jamia Plaza, second floor, west wing. The Society has six (6) active branches in Nairobi, Mombasa, Isiolo, Garissa, Wajir and Mandera. KMCS strives to work in the areas of Education, Orphanages, Healthcare services, provision of Water & Sanitation, Da’wa (propagation) activities, cultural & religious values, capacity building and Humanitarian among others.

The Society aims to develop a community that is nationally conscious, spiritually developed, confident, proud and respectful of its Islamic, cultural and national heritage, and capable of discharging its obligations towards Kenyan societal wellbeing in multi-religious and dynamic environment.

To promote volunteerism and collaborate with national & county governments, development partners and local communities in projects and programs for sustainability;

Capacity Building

To capacity build and train members, youth, women and other cadres in areas such as leadership, mentoring, entrepreneurship and skills development; and

To optimize human, material resources and information technology to achieve the desired objectives.
