Constructions

Mosques

Over the years KMCS constructed many Mosques, Shallow wells, Marakiz (Islamic Centers), Schools, while several others are currently under construction.

In its endeavor to create suitable propagation centres in Muslim areas, KMCS is in the business of mosque construction at strategic places where the facility is unavailable. Several such mosques have been built across the country for providing easy access to worshippers and the dissemination of Islam. A high standard of construction has been set and all projects are completed within schedules.

Wells

Northern Kenya is an arid region that suffers perennial droughts and lack of water. Nearly 100% of the inhabitants are Muslims and many endure abject poverty. KMCS dug, capped, and fitted a total of 842 hand pumps in Wajir, Garissa, and Madogo of North Eastern and Coast provinces respectively. The wells provide the communities with clean drinking water both for people and their livestock in addition to minor farming.

Houses

To alleviate homelessness and enhance disaster recovery, KMCS has built 42 houses for the destitute within the community in various parts of the country. During the construction process, KMCS involved the local communities in the construction process, providing skills training and employment opportunities.

This not only helps in building the houses but also empowers community members, giving them a sense of ownership and responsibility.
