Background

Kenya Muslims Chartable Society (KMCS) was founded in 1987 by young professionals from Northern Kenya, previously registered in 1992 as a Society but currently registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) since 1994 to provide development in social-cultural sectors. Our principal offices are located at Jamia Plaza, second floor, west wing. The Society has six (6) active branches in Nairobi, Mombasa, Isiolo, Garissa, Wajir and Mandera.

KMCS strives to work in the areas of Education, Orphanages, Healthcare services, provision of Water & Sanitation, Da’wa (propagation) activities, cultural & religious values, capacity building and Humanitarian among others. Despite the fact that the market is saturated with many NGO’s competing for the shrinking resources and many credibility issues, KMCS has over the years done well in its areas of operations with 100% completion rates of its programs. Areas performed well include; construction of Mosques, Schools, Water wells, Workshops & Seminars, Orphan sponsorships, Education sponsorships, Humanitarian activities such as Iftar, Udhiya, Aqiqa, relief, etc.
